Dr. Del Pino is originally from Upstate NY and fell in love with San Diego after an externship at the San Diego Zoo in 2015. She earned her B.S. from Cornell and her DVM from Colorado State University. In 2020, she moved to San Diego with her partner, two cats (Paul and Panji), and their Pitbull, Mrs. Puff. She co-leads the Street Dog Coalition, providing monthly vet care to the unhoused community. She especially enjoys urgent care cases involving wound healing and feral cats. Outside of work, she loves traveling, hiking, biking, ocean swims, and learning to surf—plus the occasional house project.
